I designed this bottle for a friend who loves horror movies. It’s Regan from the exorcist, so her head twists around.
You will need a 2 mm hook, 4 ply light blue, light pink, light brown and black wool and a Ferro-grad C bottle, or something similar. She is 8 cm tall. The pattern is written in American crochet notation.
Body (starting from the neck and working down)
With blue wool
Round 1: chain 20, slip stitch in the first chain to form a ring
Round 2: sc around (20 stitches)
Round 3: sc 4, increase – repeat (24 stitches)
Round 4: sc 5, increase – repeat (28 stitches)
Round 5: sc 6, increase – repeat (32 stitches)
Rounds 6 – 21: sc in each stitch (32 stitches) (16 rounds)
Slip your crochet over the bottle, now we’re going to cover the bottom with crochet.
Round 22: sc 14, decrease two stitches together – repeat (30 stitches)
Round 23: sc in the first three stitches, decrease the next two stitches together – repeat (24 stitches)
Round 24: sc in the first two stitches, decrease the next two stitches together – repeat (18 stitches)
Round 25: sc in the first stitch, decrease the next two stitches together – repeat (12 stitches)
Round 26: decrease until the hole closes.

Round 3: sc in the first stitch, increase in the next stitch – repeat (18 stitches)
Round 4: sc in the first two stitches, increase in the next stitch – repeat (24 stitches)
Round 5: sc around (24 stitches) (back loops only)
Rounds 6 – 11: sc around (24 stitches) (6 rounds)
Put the crochet over the bottle cap
Round 12: sc 2, decrease the next two together – repeat (18) (back loops only) – this will make the crochet cling to the rim of the cap.
Fasten off, weave in the end.
Now sew on the hair and embroider the face. Enjoy 🙂 I think it would be a good bottle for storing small boiled sweets.
