Fawkes the phoenix

Some friends bought a Harry Potter advent calendar for work. Each day in December they would open a door and find a new Harry Potter figurine. They wanted to continue enjoying it in the new year so I suggested that I make new figures to go behind the doors. So I kinda signed myself up to design 24 Harry Potter figurines :/ We’ll see how we go.

This pattern is written in American crochet notation. It uses a 2mm hook and yellow, orange, red and blue 4 ply wool.

Fawkes can transform from an egg to a phoenix and back again 🙂
