Polar bear earrings

polar-bears-1

These polar bear earrings are made with very fine white crochet cotton and a teensy tiny hook. I got the hook from a garage sale and the cotton from a charity shop so I’m not exactly sure what they are. Here’s a picture of them.

The crochet hook says 3 ½. I’m not sure what that means. Anyway, just use the finest cotton and the smallest hook you can find.

The finished earrings are 2.5 cm long. This pattern is written in American crochet notation.

Assembly

Sew on the legs. Embroider the eyes, nose and mouth using normal black thread and a sewing needle. Attach the polar bears to the earrings using the same white cotton they are made from.
