This is what happens after four weeks of Stage Four Covid-19 lockdown.
This pattern uses a 2.5 mm hook and 4 ply pink, green, yellow, purple and blue wool. It is written in American crochet notation. I can’t measure it because Pringles is on my lap but it fits a slightly chonky moggy. You also need 3 bells.
Main hat
With pink wool
Round 1: 6 sc in a magic ring (6 stitches)
Round 2: sc in each stitch (6 stitches)
Round 3: increase in each stitch (12 stitches)
Rounds 4 – 5: sc in each stitch (12 stitches) (2 rounds)
Round 6: sc in the first stitch, increase in the next stitch (18 stitches)
Rounds 7 – 8: sc in each stitch (18 stitches) (2 rounds)
Round 9: sc in the first two stitches, increase in the next stitch (24 stitches) (4 pink, 4 green, 16 pink)

Assembly
Sew on the side thingies. Sew the bells onto the three tips.
