Ekans ear saver

Melbourne is in the middle of stage four lockdown and masks have been compulsory for a while. I designed this ear saver for anyone who loves Pokemon and hates ear ache.

This pattern uses 8 ply yellow, purple and black wool and a 3.5 mm hook. It uses American crochet notation. Ekans is 16 cm long.

Pringles and Ekans are friends 🙂

We now need to close the holes between the head and neck and the neck and body.

Join purple wool to the hole between the neck and body and alternate between sc and decreases until the hole closes. Fasten off and weave in the end. Stuff the neck. Do the same for the hole between the head and the neck.

Embroider the eyes with yellow and black wool.
